Operated by an independent non-profit organisation, the BFO Foundation, the orchestra’s history underscores the enduring cultural significance that can arise from collaboration between the public and private sectors. At its core, the Festival Orchestra is the orchestra of its audiences, of music-loving citizens. Its existence owes much to the generosity of its sponsors, without whom it would not thrive.

Members of the BFOBFO enjoy exclusive opportunities to attend benefit concerts and special events with members of the orchestra throughout the year in the UK and abroad.
